Review of Umberto D. (1952) by Alex B — 04 Dec 2007
A masterpiece. There are sections of this movie that burn themselves into your memory. De Sica captures so much and gets such amazing performances out of amatuer actors. It is an exceptionally sad story that makes you look at the structure of the world in all of its starkness.
