Review of Tyrannosaur (2011) by Mark W — 11 Feb 2012
Bleak, bleak stuff from actor Paddy Considine, making his writing/directing debut, with Peter Mullen giving a moving, powerful performance as a lonely rage-a-holic who takes in a battered woman (Olivia Colman).
Cliches abound, but there's no denying the tender force of Mullan and Colman's performances, two of the best of the year.
