Review of Tyrannosaur (2011) by Paul B — 28 Apr 2013
I try not to write too much in these notes to avoid any unintentional spoilers so this is the story of two people who find each other by accident but need each more than they realise. The friendship that develops and seeing the kindness where little appears to exist are key themes in this absolutely tremendous movie by Paddy Considine.
Stunningly directed & well created characters, played immaculately by Peter Mullan & Olivia Colman, lend heft to a script where not a line is wasted. Each scene oozes class and I cannot recommend this movie highly enough.
It's a tough watch in places, joyful in many too & is genuinely one of the finest films I have seen.
