Frank Devil (Guillaume Canet) is about to take part in the Vendée Globe, a solo yacht race around the world. When the competitor has an unforeseen, asks Yann Kermadec (François Cluzet), whose dream is to sail around the world, to go instead.
After several days, Yann is in the lead, but have to stop in a town to repair damage at the helm. Solved the problem, the man soon learns that a boy sneaked into the boat and this can disqualify you from the competition.
