I have to honestly say, this was one of the most exhilarating films I have seen in many years. I say this with confidence, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon does not come close and I truly loved that film.
It is a period film, one set in classic romance style, with action that will curl your toes. Guys I warn you all, do not let your girls friends see this, cause none of us can stand up to the love this man shows his wife in this film.
The action in this film is almost none stop and the story is strong, it is set with backdrops that defy the laws of beauty. For those of you who know your martial arts films and actors you will find many surprise stars make appearances.
I strongly recommend this DVD, it is one you will not regret purchasing.
