Review of Trouble the Water (2008) by Bret D — 12 Oct 2008
An excellent documentary that really captures what New Orleans was like during Hurricane Katrina. These people's stories are profound and deserve to be heard. It is a film that is sure to move many to tears.
It shows exactly how fragile and uncaring our government is. Being from the New Orleans area, I connected with this film more so than others probably. Still, this is a film that many people can relate to.
It's a film about surviving.
