Review of Troll (1986) by Mitch "Mitch" O — 28 Mar 2007

This movie features-and I'm not kidding here-an impressive cast list including Julia Louis Dreyfuss, Noah Hathaway, you know the hero from the Never Ending Story, June Lockhart, the mom from The Adventures of Timmy and Lassie and last but not least Sonny Bono.

Now with a cast like that how could you go wrong. Well, I'll tell you. First you add trolls, hence the title of the film. Then you add a little girl who has an obsession with something called a rat burger.

But actually she is posessed by the troll who has an obsession with rat burgers. Now, have the little girl run around screaming rat burgers to all of the tenants in her apartment and someone close to you will puke from laughing too hard, like my roommate did.

I don't know if the laughter was the directors original intention, but it worked on one Scott Patrick Holmes. Brilliant bad film.
