Beautiful performance from Frieda Pinto. Poignant story.I think this film deserves more credit than it is currently getting. Even though its an adaptation of Hardy's Tess of the d'urbervilles, its easy to forget that the major plot is an everyday occurrence in most developing countries.
Good on Winterbottom for capturing this!
