Now, this... is a total shame!
Such a great concept turned into a not so great movie.
The more I knew about the story, and the more the mystery was unveiled, the more I thought something like: "Why?... Oh, why didn't you let Palahniuk be the story teller and Fincher the director?... WWWHHHHYYYYYY????".
And to think that I could have been swept away by this film if only they had known how to do it properly... They had the twists, they had the 'mind fuck' factor... And then they just threw it all away without even blinking.
It's like going to dinner at a fancy restaurant and order pataniscas de bacalhau, while the lobster is waving right there in front of you.
Tsc, tsc, tsc...
