Review of Tout Va Bien (1972) by C F — 26 Nov 2008
A political picture documenting a complex moment in time. Plenty of interesting discussions. All of the tracking shots are great, as is the "Ladies Man" set. It's not a terribly enjoyable film, but this is Godard and Gorin coming off of a four-year stint making inaccessible Marxist experimental films, so you shouldn't walk into this one expecting to have a lot of fun.
And for a movie that was supposedly written by Gorin, there's a surprisingly small amount of profanity in it, so that's a shame.
