Review of Tom at the Farm (2014) by David L — 13 Aug 2015
Very disturbing --to see the Stockholm syndrome on film. The degree of violence and bullying is emotionally exhausting and at times nauseating to watch, but the director doesn't hold the twist to the end and spends much of the film plumbing you into that emotional hell.
Great acting from Xian Dolan and Lisa Roy as well as Pierre-Yves Cardinal. After this movie, I do not want to visit the farm. Ever.
