Review of Tokyo Ghoul (2017) by Filipe P — 27 Oct 2017
Tokyo Ghoul is one if the most popular manga and anime series of all time. The lead roles act very well and give a sturdy performance that is believable. The eye-candy special effects are good for Japan (though they lack the American CGI) even if they are not the best.
However, the live action seems to not use the anime's full potential and that's what lacks in this film. For a film that covered up the first season in only 2 hours, it does its job right for fans to be pleased even With its flaws.
