Painful for me to watch for personal reasons but as a film it doesn't really go anywhere. I have a hard time with films/shows like this because I know these people and am one of them and I feel like I've lived this.
This only applies to movies/shows that are about people my age/generation. Watching Kids, Trainspotting, or Easy Rider doesn't bother me but this kind of stuff makes me feel like I'm wasting/have wasted my life and brings up feelings I don't like.
