Review of To Be or Not to Be (1983) by Bill W — 26 Jun 2008
At the time this was made the full truth of the Nazi's treatment of the Jews was yet to be found out. Dealing with that truth makes the remake as good as it is. This war movie takes a very different approach to its message than most of the propaganda films of the time.
This is very entertaining and funny. I almost missed Robert Stack. He is extremely young in this picture.
