Review of Tiptoes (2002) by Kathleen O — 29 Mar 2011
You gotta give it to Gary Oldman, the man disappears into every part. However, why the hell is Gary Oldman even in this movie? Why not cast Peter Dinklage or another little person in the role of Matthew McConaughey's dwarf brother? Okay, so despite that, the film is still a bunch of saccharine hokum desperate to pull on your heartstrings but failing miserably due to uneven emotional character arcs that I found infuriating rather than "deep.
" Tiptoes is only for the curious. Not VF.
