The movie that redeemed Mickey Rourke. You can feel the emotion in this because the character was a reflection of the pain and anguish Mickey Rourke went through in his own life, over the span of 14 years where he, too, lost his family sense of Self.
If you want to learn more about Mickey, watch him on "Inside the Actor's Studio," that's what really made me appreciate him in this film.
