Review of The Two Faces of January (2014) by Jim L — 22 Sep 2014
The Two Faces of January is a good thriller film that reminds me of Hitchcock in the theme and how the story unfolds. The location where this was filmed made a B- thriller film into an A movie. The story is intriguing and enough thrills and twists to keep you on the edge of your seat, even during some of the slower parts of the movie.
This film plays out, and has some really great acting performances, photography, and set design. There are some slow parts as the plot unfolds, but the attention to detail makes up for these lulls in the story.
Overall this is a good indie film that is worth the time to check out.
