Review of The Trials of Darryl Hunt (2007) by Jeremy S — 31 Jan 2008
This movie shows how sometimes our justice system is more interested in winning than determining the actual guilt of an individual. Its funny that the prosecution felt that DNA wasnt an exact science and in this case, but good enough at the time for hundreds of others.
Even after a confession and genetic match, they did not want to admit they are wrong, and offered pleas bargains instead to bury this thing. You have to give all the people supporting him and Darryl Hunt a lot fo credit for sticking to their guns and bringing this case to light.
Its an absolute mockery of fair trial and I hope this film opens the eyes of people who think racism is a thing of the past.
