Review of The Substitute (1996) by Dan B — 26 May 2013

This wasn't really what I was expecting, I thought it would be a guy goes in and helps the kids but not really. It felt like more of an 80s movie than a 90s. It had it's cool action fights and once he starts teaching it was pretty entertaining but the rest of it just got out of hand and dumb.

The beginning dragged for a bit before things got going and you wished things would get better faster but the acting was just not good at all. Only a portion of the middle was good then the rest didn't stand up to what the movie could've gone to.

It ran way too long which really lost my interest, I wanted this to be good but it just didn't hold up to what I wanted.
