Handsome, but extremely dull adaptation of "Pauline Reage"'s erotic novel may offend MPAA censors, unless they fall asleep. Bond-girl Corinne Clery is beautiful, but a terrible actress and doesn't get much help from costars Udo Kier (although he has a menacing aura) or Anthony Steel.
May have been controversial in the 70'es, but is unlikely to cause a stir today...
