Review of The Square (2008) by Mark H — 11 Aug 2010
I'm adding the Edgerton brothers to my list of filmmakers to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed this film all the way through. It had more twists and shocking moments than just about any movie in recent memory. The emotionally driven main characters demonstrate clearly the effects emotions such as guilt have on your reasoning and decision making skills as their seemingly simple plan to run away together spirals out of control.
The tie-in cameo from the short film, Spider, was also a great touch that had me laughing.
Can't wait to see what these guys put out next.
