The Snow Walker: This film is based on a short story written by Farley Mowat. Its Directed by Charles M Smith. Set in 1952 Barry Pepper plays the part of a cocky pilot know as Charlie Halliday. His job is to ferry cargo, At one stop he picks up a Very Sick Inuit Women Named Kanaalaq, who is played by the beautiful Annabella Piugattuk.

His job is to take here to Yellow Knife for treatment as he made a deal with an elder and received two large ivory tusk. On the flight back Charlie deviates from his flight plan and of course the plane goes down leaving the two stranded.

Charlie being hard headed wants to take charge an find help on his own, leaving the Inuit women behind, but it is the Inuit women who finds Charlie near death and rescues him, the two form a close bind.

A very sad ending that I will leave at that. I give it 4 stars, you get it and watch it as its a good Family Story.
