Review of The Shortcut (2009) by Kenny O — 27 Nov 2009
A low-key, PG-13 "slasher" film that starts off like some kind of movie for the Disney Channel before emerging as a decent, but unspectacular, little thriller. Emphasis is on character and story, not gore.
That said, this could have been a great throwback to the horror films of the 80s had the script gone through another re-write and director Nicholaus Goossen filmed with a harder edge.
