One of the most compelling romantic dramas I've seen. About loneliness, hope, the fear and fulfillment of intimacy. Full of fascinating and likeably dysfunctional characters. I didn't know anything about this movie before I saw it and it revealed itself beautifully .
. . but it continues to hold up on subsequent viewings.
