Review of The Sacrament (2014) by Mirza Mohd S — 02 May 2014
This is a kind of film only "found footage" fans are gonna enjoy. This film is basically a re-telling of the Jonestown Massacre, a real event that happened in the late 1970's, when a megalomaniac by the name of Jim Jones brought several hundred members of a religious group called the People's Temple to a remote jungle location in Guyana.
This film is a fascinating portrayal into the world of cults and religious orders that makes for a fast paced story. From writer/director Ti West, this story is believable tale & the only Eli Roth production worth watching!
