This reality show type documentary focuses on the life of Jake "The Snake" Roberts, a retired pro wrestler who was notable for his stints in the WWF, ECW and briefly with WCW. Diamond Dallas Page, or Dallie, a long time friend of Jake Roberts documents the story behind taking Jake, at quite possibly the worst point in his life, looking like a shadow of his former self, from the doom of the stereotype post-wrestling career downfall to a point where he can connect with his family and once again enjoy the quality's of life.
The documentary has it's ups and downs, but really does produce a great inside look on the effects of the professional wrestling industry and the hard hitting lifestyle pro wrestlers, like Jake Roberts, once lived.
It's a drama filled ride that finalizes with a moment of happiness for Jake Roberts. It's also worth noting that the production on this was great quality considering the small budget one would assume it had.
