Review of The Resurrection of Gavin Stone (2017) by Troy S — 22 Jan 2017
This movie reminds me of the Ultimate Gift. Gavin Stone is a Hollywood bad-boy type who uses the church as a form of community service to make up for his charge. As the movie progesses, Gavin learns more about grace and why Jesus came into our world.
But most of all, the Christians in the movie are able to learn what our role as brothers and sisters are: to love others as Jesus loved us. Very moving comedy/drama. I saw the preview and thought it was going to be cheesy, but it was rather touching especially the end.
