Review of The Real Jurassic Park (1993) by Facebook U — 04 Apr 2015
Something of a fairy tale in the world of monster-driven CG epics, Jurassic Park is the classic that keeps on giving. The action simply cannot be missed, partially because it stretches wall-to-wall in the film; but make no mistake, Jurassic Park is a blockbuster with profound substance.
For every jaw-dropping shot of a prehistoric lizard terrorizing paleontologists, there is a comment on behalf of Jeff Goldblum likening the advancements made by Jurassic Park's scientists to the tendency of more ambitious humans to assume the role of God, occasionally with dire consequences.
Part thriller, part family-dynamic drama, viewing Jurassic Park should be considered a practice for coming of age for all cinematic diehards.
