Review of The Phantom from 10,000 Leagues (1955) by Bruce B — 19 Oct 2008
There is a lot of formula used in making this movie, but there is little to excite. The woman is pretty, the monster is stiff and rarely seen, and there is an attempt at expounding upon the fears of science.
There is enough there to let it rise above the worst of sci-fi B films, but it also holds nothing spectacular.
