Review of The October Man (1947) by Roger T — 07 Jul 2009
This film interests me because the male lead is, for all but a few minutes of the movie, portrayed as either insane, suicidal, or both. As a story about overcoming inward as well as outward obstacles, I get it, but I'm not sure what makes the character so attractive to Joan Greenwood.
..or me? Perhaps there is a thrill that comes from having more faith in someone than they have in themselves.
