I always loved kid movies with camaraderie. I was also fascinated by the Universal monster flicks. It seemed an ideal situation to combine the two. And believe me, to a child in the 80s, there was no group you wanted to be a part of more than the Monster Squad. Simply great!
Some surprisingly solid performances by the cast. Love the BK on the roof while watching drive-in scary movie with binoculars scene. The Dracula to me is the 2nd most quinessential Dracula, next to Bela Lugosi.
