Review of The Leisure Class (2015) by James H — 06 Nov 2015
After watching all episodes of PGL, I had some pretty high hopes. The first time I laughed at the movie was almost near the end when the father was passed out lying on a chair outside the house. It was a giggle. Other than that, the movie was not funny at all. It had that Sixteen Candles sort-of formula of all bad things slowly boiling to an explosion ending. That was probably the best part of the movie was the the last 20 minutes. The lead character was lacking some background story - I felt he needed some flashbacks of where he met his fiancĂ (C) and possibly what sort of person he was before becoming Charles.
On another point, Jason Mann should have been more concerned with the script then with the technicalities around filming it.
