Review of The Last Confederate: The Story of Robert Adams (2005) by Sean A — 09 Jul 2007
Wonderful story, but execution of it was a little disappointing. I would have liked to see more in the prison and more of the fighting instead of fight cut fight cut prison. but the small battles were a way for the movie to be made cheaply.
What an honor it must have been to be a direct descendant of Robert Adams and his wife. Acting was decent as well, even for the lead actor who is an Adams. I like it a lot. Cinematography was bland, but I got over it.
The dialogue was rich in aesthetics, partly because the two main characters are teachers, and the language of the mid0-1800's was completely different from ours now.
