Review of The Killing Room (2009) by Duncan S — 08 Jun 2009
Four people volunteering for a scientific experiment find themselves at the mercy of a unauthoised government programme that will leave 3 of them dead. An amazing amount of tension is generated in a film that is almost totally set withing four white walls, and the outcome is never obvious.
A film that dares to put psychological tension and an interesting story above the blood and guts. Comparisons to the Saw franchise are totally misplaced.
