Review of The Kid (2010) by Simona B — 19 Sep 2010
Bullied terribly as a kid, kevin goes on to live his life withdrawn and a furious temper but events turn his life around which was to be written as a best seller , called the kid, a film with terrific performances capturing the real kevin, as seen at end of film, the 3 actors get him down great, the stry itself shows his transformation, from a troubled bullied youth to failed businessman and tough backstreet fighter for money, the direction brings a sense of the time, and some terrific directing choices, adding to the story a lot, certain parts of his looking grim, his parents story a toiugh watch at times and coming across as a very tough childhood, great music f the period comes off great also.
and fine support from everyone involved.
