Review of The Invincible Iron Man (2007) by Ted — 10 Aug 2008
This entertaining animated adventure is definitely recommended for both long-time fans of the Iron Man comic series, as well as relative newcomers who want to familiarize themselves with the character before watching the live-action movie.
I must admit that I am a little bias since Iron Man is my favorite comic book character. That being said, this film definitely delivers with a top-notch plot borrowed from the original story of Iron Man's beginnings on the superhero scene.
On top of that the animation is spectacular. It is rich, vivid and as fully detailed as any top-quality Japanese anime. CGI is used occasionally, but only at times that seem necessary. I enjoyed this film immensely and if your already a fan, or just looking to get started, I certainly recommend it.
