For what it is, it's a fucking masterpiece. Granted, you have to be a connoisseur of pop culture and a lover of '90s-style animation to enjoy it at all. Otherwise, it will just fuck you up. For the fans who understand Rob's aesthetic, stylistic, genre obsessions, the film is really just another day.
Like everything Zombie, it is a nostalgic modern spin on a classic style.
