Review of The Happy Road (1957) by Allan C — 06 Dec 2014
Lightweight but enjoyable piece of fluff starring and directed by Gene Kelly. Kelly and Barbara Lanage play two single parents living in Europe who's children who have decided to runaway to Paris together.
The set-up allows for lots of comic episode for the children and for their parents, along with the inevitable romantic ones, as they traipse across a picture postcard Europe. Not a classic, but worth watching for fans of Gene Kelly.
