Review of The Hairdresser's Husband (1990) by Tor M — 16 Nov 2014
A short little flick about a boy/mans love for a hairdresser.
Poetic and pretty, stylich, sweet and charming.
The production, the acting and the cinematography is really good, and there is not much wrong with this film. Still it fails to blow me away or getting me super obsessed. It never got that little extra that makes it an unforgettable experience. It feature the hottest hardresser on earth and the really sensual groove is key. Somewhat entertaining, but nothing big.
It's minimalistic, weird and easy to like. Dreams and obsession, often the combination, are also themes here.
7.5 out of 10 wool bathing shorts.
