Review of The Hacker Wars (2014) by Ian R — 31 Mar 2016
It's a rare documentary that can fail to teach you anything and then make you mad at the subjects. Most of the people profiled are insufferable narcissists, but the real problem is that the terrible editing, dub-step, flashy animations and all that take away from something important.
Instead of illuminating it just makes you want to stop watching. Let Frontline talk about this because this director doesn't know what she's doing. An issue that deserved better.
