Review of The Greasy Strangler (2016) by Bruce B — 05 Oct 2016
Big Ronnie and his son Big Brayden run a Disco Walking Tour of all the (completely made-up) disco celebrity related sites in their neighborhood. Janet takes the tour and falls for Brayden, which arouses Ronnie's ire.
Soon father and son are in vicious competition for Janet's love and sexual favours. Meanwhile ... a grease covered man is strangling unsuspecting victims. I don't think there will be any middle ground on this film.
It plays like a giant in-joke ... either you get it and think it's hilarious, or you'll hate all the grossness on display here. The best indicator ... if you think Sideshow Bob stepping on all the rakes in "The Simpsons" is hilarious (and I do), you'll love this film .
.. repulsiveness and all.
