I can't believe I watched this. A bird from outer space comes and starts eating people and terrorizes the countryside? The acting isn't that bad and it's going ok until the bird comes on screen.

Then we see the worst monster prop EVER. This marionette puppet is unbelievable. Holy crap. But the movie continues to plow through in its serious tone while every time the bird is on screen it turns into a total comedy.

Plus there's a lot of absurd scientific mumbo-jumbo thrown in. What a movie.
