Although technically a bad movie, this is a phenomenally entertaining little picture, because it has all the elements that make b-movies enjoyable: decent acting, acceptable dialogue, moderately interesting characters, a ludicrous plot, nonsensical science, and exceptionally cheesy special effects. Seriously, that thing is hilarious.
Also, try The Giant Claw Drinking Game: whenever the word "battleship" comes up, drink.
