Review of The Fall (2006) by Tsubaki S — 20 Jul 2010
I loved this so much! Honestly, I went into this not really knowing or understanding much about the story - I just thought it looked interesting. And so was I ever surprised when it was a total gem. This is storytelling in its best form. The acting was amazing (Lee Pace is my new love, and Catinca Untaru was spectacular!). The story was fascinating - both the fantasy portion and the reality. The visuals were stunning. It was beautifully filmed and put together. And overall I just thought it was brilliant. I could easily watch this movie again and again. I'm so glad I saw this.
What did this movie teach me? Storytelling is the greatest form of entertainment.
