Review of The Face of Love (2013) by Toren P — 13 Mar 2014
An indie little love tale featuring a couple of immensely talented stars doing the best they can with the so-so script they have been presented. Annette Bening and Ed Harris have always been recognized as two actors who know how to bring more than what's expected to average material.
The direction is also at fault here for coming off so aimless. I have nothing but respect for the actors in this movie, but this is something to rent or to catch on TV. Nothing special.
