Review of The Exploding Girl (2010) by Kelly S — 24 Dec 2010

Zoe Kazan is starting to become one of my favorite young actresses and I think she gives a great performance in this movie. I tend to have a lot of patience with movies, particularly indies, that are slightly more slowly paced and rely more on character development to move the story along.

At first, I had a hard time getting into this one, but about half way through, it started to click and I connected with Kazan's character, Ivy. If you're patient, I'd give this one a try, if for no other reason than to watch Kazan's lovely performance.
