Review of The Elephant in the Living Room (2010) by Andrew L — 20 Sep 2011
Incredible movie. I'm against owning exotic animals as are the people involved in making this film. The thing that I respect a lot is, Michael Webber showed that even though the movie doesn't support exotic animal ownership, they help those who aren't willing to give up their "pets" learn how to properly care for their animals and do what they need to do to make it.
I understand some parts were extremely controversial and most did not approve of the seen involving "Lambert" the African Lion. I have personally met Webber and Harrison and I can assure you they did not want to include that scene but they knew they had to to do justice for both sides of the story.
Excellent documentary. Scattered at times, but excellent information. Keep in mind, it is a documentary, NOT a movie. Its about the information, not the action.
