Review of The Dresser (2015) by John L — 21 Jul 2016
"The Dresser" is like a breath of fresh air, as long as we're focusing on its pure cinematographic value. It lacks the sparks of modern movie-making, and it makes up for it through well-tailored play, together with layers of metaphor and irony.
It is both funny and touching, but above all else, it's a manifestation of impeccable acting.
