Review of The Dead Girl (2006) by John B — 03 Jan 2009
A hard hitting, depressing drama, though absolutely brilliant in it's execution. In telling the tale of The Dead Girl, the movie centres on 4 other women connected to the title character either directly or indirectly.
And in a way, these 4 woman, though alive, are "dead" emotionally - it almost begs the question, are they not also then "dead" girls? Brilliant performances from all of the cast members with Collette and Gay Harden really standing out.
