Review of The Dead (2010) by Ivan K — 24 Sep 2011
Not a mass appeal movie, but for zombie aficionados, a must-see. Does a lot with a very small budget and manages to still find something fresh in a very genre that has seen it all. The plot is written with an attention to detail that shows a lot of thought went into this and has a video game quality that feels intelligent and exciting.
Additionally, this is probably the first zombie movie I've ever seen where the zombies really chew.
